Tate Stevens Biography
Tate Stevens was born as Stephen “Tater” Eatinger. He is an American country music artist. He won the second season of the U.S. The X Factor. Specifically in 2012. In effect securing a $5 million recording contract with Syco Music and RCA Records Nashville. Carl Rose Sonenclar came second to him.

Stevens was born as the son of Steve. There is no information about his mother neither his siblings. The family moved from Texas to Belton, Missouri while Tate was still a child. Thus Steve grew up there, graduating from Belton High School in 1994 later on. The father, Steve played the drums with a country band in Texas. In addition, he was a construction worker.

As a young singer in the 1990s, Stevens adopted his stage name. Consequently releasing a single in 1994 entitled “It Sure Looks Good On You“. He began to tour as a lead singer immediately after graduating from high school. This, for a country band of five, called the Dixie Cadillacs. During this time the band released an album in June 1996. Having produced under Calf Creek Records. Moreover, the album was under their band name.
Stevens returned to Missouri after touring for several years. He was to settle down and raise his young family. Of course, working for the city of Belton, Missouri. Tate took a construction job and later a job in the city’s water department. Then much later took street department, repairing roads.
Tate joined a local band in 2005, Outlaw Junkies. Later formed his own band in 2008, the Tate Stevens Band. Forthwith releasing an independent album and touring on weekends and holidays. He auditioned for The X Factor in early 2012. Stevens progressed through the various stages of the competition, until winning on December 20, 2012. Then released his debut album in 2013.

Stevens lives with his wife Ashlie. Having met in high school and married in 1997. They have got a son Hayden and daughter Rylie. They live in Peculiar, Missouri. Not to be confused with where Stevens grew. Belton, Missouri part of greater Kansas City for a record.

Stevens stated that he would like to make a predominantly “fun” record. Hoping to co-write some of the songs. He specifically stated he would like to work with Luke Laird and Kim Tribble. Stevens was successfully signed to RCA Records Nashville on January 15, 2013. He then released his debut song “Holler If You’re With Me“. The song was in a commercial produced by Pepsi. It went on to be aired during the 2013 Grammy Awards on February 10, 2013. Immediately afterwards, the full-length music video for the song became available online. The video for the song used about 100 extras. It focuses on a “big bonfire party“, in particular.
