Robin is an American WGN award-winning journalist who works for WGN-TV, as a news anchor. She was born and brought up in Burbank, IL United States of America. Robin co-anchors WGN Morning News between 6-10 am with Larry Potash, Paul Konrad, as well as Pat Tomasulo. Before joining WGN, she worked as a traffic and news reporter at WLUP Radio.

Robin is a three-time Emmy Award winner who co-anchors the WGN Morning News from 6-10am. Robin joined the show in 1996 as airborne traffic reporter and transportation reporter. Before joining WGN-TV, Robin worked at Shadow Broadcast Services in Chicago. At that time she was working d as a traffic, news and sports reporter for WLUP Radio’s Jonathon Brandmeier Show.
She at one time worked as a traffic reporter for CLTV News, and spent a year doing freelance work with ABC. WGN Morning News expanded to 4 hours in 2004 and Robin became the solo anchor of the 5 am show. She, in that year became the main anchor of WGN Morning News, from 5:30 am to 9 am. Again the show expanded in 2013, and Robin extended her duties again to cover the 6-10 am hours.
She also likes to report on stories unique to Chicago and the South Side.
