Max Boyle Biography
Max Boyle is an American singer song writer known for his song “Always,” (2019) and a for his audition with Ed Sheeran’s “Wayfaring Stranger” in The Voice, blind auditions. He started his blind audition a cappella, a risky move, but he pulled it off, prompting chair turns from John Legend and Kelly Clarkson.
For a while, it looked like he might do the whole song a cappella. Once the music kicks in, Max showed off his performance skills and some really impressive range. John called it a “daring” performance. And since he blocked Kelly, he automatically won Max for his team.

The youngest of six children, Boyle grew up in Maumee. All five of his siblings were involved in music and he started singing at a young age.

In May 2019 Max released his latest single, “Always,”. He told the Toledo City Paper the song was inspired by his “first big-boy breakup. It’s about knowing you’ll always love that person, but sometimes you have to go your separate ways.” Check out “Always” below.
That single is a followup to his 2018 debut EP, “Something to Hold.” Lead single “Angel” from that project has racked up more than 400,000 streams on Spotify.
Max has also performed in a band call The Ripz with Reid Smith, Max Duffy, Matt Forsthoefel and Dylan Penna-Powell
Max Boyle Education
Boyle recently graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in psychology, but continues gigging and releasing music.
