Lauren Jiggetts is an American anchor and reporter working for WGN Morning News. She joined this station as co-anchor of the 4am and 5am newscasts since July 10, 2017 as a co-anchor.
She attended Stevenson High School and later joined Lincolnshire, he later graduated cum laude from Harvard University.

Lauren first worked as an intern for WFLD-TV and CLTV while still in the University. She then worked at Channel One News in L.A. and WLVI which is the CW affiliate in Boston. Before joining WGN-TV, she worked in various positions and lately as the weekend news anchor at NBC 5 in Chicago for 10 years.
Later, on July 10, 2017, she joined GWN Morning News as co-anchor of the 4am and 5am newscasts.
Lauren Jiggetts Awards
Lauren received a national and regional Emmy in 2011 after her contribution to the station’s coverage of the Burr Oak Cemetery Scandal. She also has many other local Emmys.
Lauren also received the Irv Kupcinet Media Award at the 41st Annual Ed Kelly Foundation Gala, in 2015.
