Karen Mills-Francis is an American television personality and former county court judge and criminal defense attorney in Florida before turning to TV to preside over her own court shows. She is the judge of TV’s syndicated shows Judge Karen and Judge Karen’s Court.
She completed her undergraduate education at the prestigious Bowdoin College in Maine on a full scholarship and she spent summers studying at the University of Wisconsin. Mills worked in the public welfare sector in areas such as job training after graduation and helping welfare recipients to gain employment. In 1987, she graduated from the Levin School of Law at the University of Florida.
