Jeremy Davies is an American film maker and television actor born on October 8, 1969 in Traverse City, Michigan, U.S. He is best known for portraying the Norse god Baldur in God of War, Corporal Upham in Saving Private Ryan, Daniel Faraday on the ABC series Lost and Dickie Bennett in the FX series Justified, for which he was twice nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, later winning in 2012.

Jeremy Davies began his acting career after joining the American Academy college of Dramatic Arts in California. He went on and appeared in small roles in the NBC TV film Shoot First: A Cop’s Vengeance and in the pilot for the colonial-era sitcom 1775. He is known for portraying the Norse god Baldur in God of War, Corporal Upham in Saving Private Ryan, Daniel Faraday on the ABC series Lost and Dickie Bennett in the FX series Justified, for which he was twice nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, later winning in 2012.
He was noticed by Numerous casting directors and industry forces who noticed him as a commercial actor, and he found himself being sent feature film scripts. Critics embraced his performance in David O. Russell’s debut film, the black comedy, Spanking the Monkey. His performance was well received, and he went on to star in several films, including CQ, Secretary and Solaris. He won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Dickie Bennett at the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards hosted in 2012.
He was nominated in the same category the year before, but lost to Paul McCrane, who guest starred in the series Harry’s Law. Davies is the second Justifiedcast member to win an Emmy following Margo Martindale. He appeared as a main cast and member on Lost during its fourth and fifth seasons, playing Daniel Faraday, an amnesiac physicist who comes to the island as part of a team hired by Charles Widmore. In 2014, he appeared in two episodes of the critically acclaimed show, Hannibal. He appeared in the second role of his production with Bill Paxton, of which it became his first film Twister on 1996′.
