Jaime Bergman Career

He started modeling soon after graduating from high school. She found it quite difficult to find a strong footing in the industry during the initial years of her struggle but eventually caught up. Her modeling career began to flourish in the late 1990s.

1999 was the largest year of her career. She was finally recognized as a model. She was made’ St’s brand ambassador. Pauli Girl’s beer came to be known as the’ St. 1999’s Pauli Girl. She also appeared in the’ Playboy’ magazine the same year as the’ Playboy Playmate of the Month’ for the month of January (the magazine’s 45th anniversary issue).

Following this appreciation from’ Playboy,’ she appeared in many of her videos, such as’ Playboy: Playmate Pajama Party.’ She also had her own video centerfold. She was still not considered ready to start her screen acting career, however.

Although she had started to get some TV and movie roles, they were mostly short roles that were a few seconds or minutes long. Such roles did not give her the opportunity to exhibit her performing skills. Mostly she was given glamorous roles that required her to show off her beautiful physique.

She started her film career with one such role in 1999 in the movie’ Speedway Junky.’ It was a tiny role. She made her TV debut the same year with the series ‘ Beverly Hills, 90210.’ She played the role of’ Trish Jansen’ in one of her episodes, called’ Loo-Ouch.’ The role lasted only a few seconds on the screen. She appeared in a single episode of the comedy series’ The Love Boat: The Next Wave’ the same year and played a small role in one of her episodes, entitled’ Trances of a Lifetime.’ She continued her film career with yet another small but glamorous role in the film ‘ Any Given Sunday.’

She began in 2000 with another small, unnamed role in the movie’ Gone in 60 Seconds.’ She then appeared in another small role in the movie’ Daybreak a.k.a Rapid Transit.’ In 2000, she appeared to support roles in series such as’ Brutally Normal’ and’ Shasta McNasty.’ However, the year 2000 also brought her the best role in her acting career.

She appeared as’ BJ Cummings’ in the sitcom ‘ Son of the Beach.’ The sitcom was designed mainly as a spoof of the much more successful’ Baywatch’ series.’ Son of the Beach’ was filled with sexual humor, practical jokes and puns. It was well received by viewers at first. However, it stopped making waves as the seasons progressed.

The sitcom was cancelled after its third season. In 42 episodes of the series, Jaime played’ BJ’ spanning all three seasons. In 2001, she played the role of’ Melissa’ in an erotic film entitled’ Virgins’ and then appeared in a TV film entitled’ Soulkeeper.’ The latter was an ascience-fiction film featuring her in the role of’ Buxom Blonde.’ In 2002, she appeared in the guest role of’ Denise’ in one of the episodes of the series ‘ Dawson’s Creek,’ entitled’ Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell.

In 2003, she appeared in the role of’ Zoey Abernacky’ in the mockumentary comedy film ‘ Pauly Shore is Dead.’ The film received mixed reviews, but it was the first time that Jaime received some appreciation for her performance.

In 2004, she appeared in guest roles in series such as’ It’s All Relative’ and’ Angel.’ After that, she disappeared from the small screen for a very long time, only to reappear in 2017 with the guest role of’ Dawn Skaggs’ in the series ‘ Bones.’ Her film career also went nowhere and stopped in 2004, after she appeared in movies such as’ DysEnchanted’ (as’ Alice’) and’ Boa vs. Python’ (as’ Monica’).

Jaime Bergman Interview

STUFF: In 1999, you were the St. Pauli Girl, yet you can’t maintain such a lovely figure if you drink lots of beer.
JAIME: If you’re drinking a lot, just eat a lot of protein and you’ll be fine. You can drink as much as you want.

Anyone who’s ever acted on a beach bitches about it. Here’s your chance.
We shoot all through winter, so it’s very cold. It’s 30 degrees, and the wind is blowing. If it’s raining, you have to work through it, because we shoot an episode every four days. It’s draining. You have to come to our set.

I prefer the bleakness of my office. You claim to be self-conscious when you’re filming in a bikini. That’s not just some attempt to sound grounded, is it?
No, it’s true. You’re working 14 hours a day. So while you’re shooting, you’re not working out that much, and you’re eating. You have people looking at you, and you get a little self-conscious. I like to be covered up when I can be.

On your Web site (JaimeBergman.com), you’re wearing some pretty racy stuff. Shouldn’t there be a warning on there for innocent people like me?
Oh, you poor thing. I’m sorry! You’re right. Do you need a hug?

Let’s keep things professional. Why is everyone surprised that you’re not stupid? That must be getting old.
Yeah, it’s annoying. It’s sad that people have the perception that blond women who do Playboy are automatically stupid. They don’t realize that I’m using it as a business.

Are well-endowed blond women cursed?
I don’t know if it’s a curse, because some people enjoy being seen as a T&A actress. I don’t mind being sexy, but I have a problem having my boobs in everyone’s face all the time. I’ve turned down a lot because of it.

Do you regret getting breast implants?
If I could go back to when I got them done, I’d shoot myself in the head. I should’ve gotten therapy instead. It seemed like the cool thing to do, but now it’s working against me. I would never encourage anybody to do it. It made me even more insecure, because people started to look at that more than anything else.

Let’s get more upbeat. Your mom brought you up to be well-mannered. Does that include dining etiquette?
Yes. I think that’s important.

You do? Well, if you’re out to dinner, which way do you pass the bread basket: clockwise or counterclockwise?
Oh, my God. Um…counterclockwise.

Lucky guess. Do you think anyone would yell if I passed it clockwise?
That’s not really a manner I would pay attention to. I’m more into chewing with your mouth closed.

And belching at the table is no good?
No, that doesn’t bother me. If I didn’t like you in the first place, it might get on my nerves. But if we had good chemistry, I’d probably laugh about it.

What other disgusting qualities do you look for in a guy?
I like people who are real, the rough guy who doesn’t wash his hair for a week. I love imperfection. It’s sexy.

You’re married to David Boreanaz from Angel. Personally, I don’t find him attractive. His jaw is too square. But some may argue he’s not “imperfect.”
I don’t know about that. His face is extremely good-looking, but there’s also a roughness about it.

I’m telling you, his jaw is too square.
Really? I don’t know.…His whole presence is sexy.

You named your son Jaden Rayne. Why can’t celebrities just give their kids normal names? You only read about celebrities. You don’t read about everyday people. I’m sure they have crazy names, too.
I don’t work with anyone named Riverbank or Fjord.

We weren’t trying to be artsy. We just decided it fit us, and we liked it. Now that you’re married, sex must be pretty boring.
No, not at all. Everything just gets better and better. It’s like when we first met, because we were put on hold for a while. Now that I feel like I’m back, we just kind of picked up where we left off.

Having a kid doesn’t get in the way?
It sounds weird, but it’s even more sexy when the baby is in the other room and you try to fit it in. You make it what it is. You come up with creative things and it works out. The next day, drinking coffee in the morning, we just look at each other and laugh about it. Our relationship is still very new.

When do you plan on getting divorced?
I’m thinking maybe in a couple of years. [Laughs] I mean, this is Hollywood.

That it is. In closing, would you like to rate my professionalism on a scale of one to ten?
Your professionalism? I’ll give you a nine. You weren’t too pressing on the questions that I always get asked, like “Have you ever been with a girl?”
nuts! I forgot to ask you that.
Shut up! You know what? You just dropped to a six.
