Jack Coleman  is an American actor and screenwriter. He is best known for playing the role of Steven Carrington in the 1980s prime time soap opera Dynasty. He was born as John MacDonald Coleman. Coleman has also played for portraying Noah Bennet in the science-fiction drama series Heroes (2006–2010).

Not to mention, his recurring roles as State Senator Robert Lipton on The Office. He played the role of United States Senator William Bracken on Castle (2012–2015).

His most noted role came in 2006 with the series Heroes where he was seen in 64 episodes as character Noah Bennet. He has been seen in 14 episodes of The Office as State Senator Lipton. Coleman also has been seen in 5 episodes of The Vampire Diaries, 6 episodes of Castle, 11 episodes of Burn Notice and six episodes of Scandal.

He is also noted for his role Noah Bennet in the TV miniseries Heroes Reborn. He has also appeared in various movies like The Pursuit of Happiness, Foreign Student, Spawn and Beautiful Loser to name a few.
