Chauncy Glover is a Three-time Emmy Award winning American anchor as well as reporter  who works  for KTRK ABC13 in Houston, Texas. Glover  graduated from Troy University with Broadcast Journalism, Theatre, and Music. He then received a degree in Public Relations. Athens, Alabama, United States is the place he was born and raised.

Only two days after his graduation from college this journalist  started his TV career when he joined  WTVM News Leader 9 in Columbus, Georgia. After working her for 2 years, he then left for CBS 47 and Fox 30 in Jacksonville, Florida as a special projects and General Assignment reporter. His reputation grew fast for breaking many exclusive stories, like landing a national exclusive with the “Hollywood Hacker,” Christopher Chaney who was arrested and only admitted to Chauncy to hacking into the email accounts of A-list celebrities. Glover won a number of  awards for his story “Chauncy’s Journey,” which featured him reuniting with his family in his hometown which had been devastated by tornadoes. Afterwards he went to work with viewers in Jacksonville to set up a trip to Athens, Alabama where they delivered  money and household items in aid of rebuilding a church.

Chauncy left CBS 47 for  WDIV Local 4 News team in Detroit, Michigan in December 2011, where he would now work as a Reporter as well as Fill-in anchor. Here, he covered the Sandy Hook Massacre in Newtown. In this case,  he conducted a serious interview with the teacher who was in the classroom next to the one where the massacre took place.

This is  a hands-on, extensive mentoring program that grooms teenage boys into gentlemen. The program insists on dressing for success, etiquette, manhood,  college readiness among others. The CGP Gents and Young Gents are 7-12th graders, Glover together with  other mentors meet with them twice a month for empowerment sessions and outings. The CGP was proud to send its inaugural class known as “The Fearless 14” to college with scholarships. This  program now mentors more than 20 boys in the Motor City.
