After this visit, he went to studio and recorded ‘ Sally Ann’ and ‘War Paint’. He then joined Bill Haley, Elvis Presley and Rick Carty as one the first actual recording “rockabilly” These are among the most famous artists in the world.
Early in Bobby’s career, his style was so much like that of Johnny Cash, Listen carefully to his recordings ‘Big Train’ and ‘Half Bread’.
Within ten days of ‘Big Train‘ Bobby received a contract from Columbia Records. This is when The vice president of Columbia Records in New York heard the songs and liked it very much.
